Frito-Lay Gives Fans a 'Taste of Super Bowl' in Pre-Game Ad

Starring Gronk, Marshawn Lynch and Troy Polamalu

Which brand will take home the 2024 Super Clio for the best Super Bowl commercial? We'll find out on Feb. 12.

Everyone savors the taste of victory, not just Super Bowl winners Rob Gronkowski (he's everywhere these days), Marshawn Lynch and Troy Polamalu.

Frito-Lay's "Taste of Super Bowl," created by in-house agency D3 and director Peter Berg, is set to run during Super Wild Card Weekend and on CBS' pre-game coverage, just before kickoff on Feb. 11.

Gronk is skeptical when Lynch remarks that eating Lay's tastes like winning the Super Bowl. But one bite and the confetti pops, with DJ Khaled's "All I Do is Win" turned up high. The same happens to Frito fans who pop open a bag and Polamalu when he snacks in the barber's chair.

In addition to the ad, Frito-Lay is planting roots, briefly, on the Vegas strip on the Brooklyn Bridge at the New York, New York Hotel from Feb. 8-11.

The Frito-Lay Chip Strip gives fans a chance to woo lady luck at the Frito-Lay Snackpot, or take things to the next level at the Cheetos Chapel.
