Burger King Playfully Updated Its Signage in Miami for Super Bowl LIV

Four restaurants get Roman numerals

It remains to be seen whether Burger King will be advertising on the Super Bowl this year, following its bewildering and much-debated "Eat Like Andy" spot with Andy Warhol from last February (which won two Clios but finished dead last on the USA Today Ad Meter). 

Either way, it's not sittling idly by—particularly since the game is being played in its hometown of Miami. 

In one small but amusing stunt, the chain has replaced the "Flame grilling since 1954" signs on four of its Miami restaurants to read "Flame grilling since 19LIV," since this is Super Bowl LIV. 

Here are the restaurants with the updated signs:

With luck, this won't be the last we'll hear from BK this Super Bowl season.
