Clio Health Innovators: Lisa Tatarian, Vice President, Director of Creative Operations, TBWA\WorldHealth

Lisa unpacks seemingly impossible executional challenges into digestible soundbites and actionable plans. A summer job before medical school sparked a 20-year career, where Lisa is now leading AI transformations for her agency in partnership with Omnicom Health Group.

How you bring creativity and innovation to your work

For me it starts with listening—really listening. People around me have the freedom to talk. I ask hard questions and dig deep. The best innovations and the most impactful work are born out of collaborative problem solving.

About a recent project you're proud of

A few years ago, I created a team specializing in Medical Legal Regulatory Content Management and Submissions. They thrive in the space many dislike. Our "Submissions Excellence Dashboard" now tracks quantitative data and offers diagnostic action planning for both client and agency process advancements. It tells the beautiful story of a crossroad between data and human problem-solving. For an MLR nerd like me, it's a passion project that's come to life and makes me so proud.

What you're most excited about right now in the health space

We're finally seeing personalized messaging, creative imagery in campaigns and open talk about health issues that were once culturally taboo.

What it means to you to be selected as a Clio Health Innovator

This is big for me. I feel seen. I hope it shows others that creative operations and processes can be just as sexy as copy or art. This recognition validates my work in making a meaningful and positive impact.

"In an era dominated by process, technology, and efficiency, Lisa Tatarian never forgets the power of humanity. Her title at TBWA\WorldHealth may be VP, director of creative operations, but Lisa is much more accurately described through the words of her colleagues: "innovator," "culture maker," "lifeblood of the agency," and the "enabler of everything. Lisa has been with the agency for over 25 years (plus two mergers) and through it all, she has been the steady rudder that has allowed TBWA\WorldHealth to successfully navigate tectonic shifts in operational and technical excellence."—Amy Gerstein, head of agency operations & experience,TBWA\WorldHealth
