Nina Austin on Finding Your Path

The Cashmere ACD pursues her passions while navigating conflicting identities

On today's episode of #BlackTea, we chat with Nina Austin, associate creative director at Cashmere, about the invincible burden that comes with the strong Black woman tropes. Nina talks about her switch to advertising from pre-med and the impact of leaning into your passions when finding your career path. She speaks on taking a chance and making a move to the West Coast to find growth. She also shares how she helped create room for Black women in sports and fashion through the web series "Come Thru." Spend some time with Nina.
