Jada Harris Is Taking Over

The Laundry Service social strategist on navigating working relationships and more

On today's episode of #BlackTea, we chat with Jada Harris, social strategist at Laundry Service, on her jump from nonprofit marketing to advertising. She talks about how networking within your agency can help you land the job that suits you best. Jada shares how she navigates working relationships as a Black woman in advertising, and I encourage her resolve to bring her full self to work. We celebrate Jada's recent wins with her, from taking the reins of a project and selling it through to the client to providing support to her peers. Jada will one day lead marketing research on your favorite brand, so get to know her.

Black Tea is a video series that exists to make the independent voices of our fellow Black adwomen louder in the industry. If you identify as a Black woman in advertising and you'd like to be interviewed, please fill out this self-submission form. For questions about the show, please get in touch. Note: We do not currently take interviewee nominations or recommendations from agencies or third parties.
