Ed Sheeran Got His Own Heinz Ketchup Bottle and Even Wrote an Ad for Them

Brand's longtime fan takes it to the next level

As much as Ed Sheeran loves Game of Thones, he might love Heinz ketchup even more. He even has a tattoo of the brand's logo on his arm.

Now, the condiment is loving him back.

The 28-year-old British singer revealed on Wednesday, which happens to be National Ketchup Day, that Heinz has made a run of limited-edition Heinz "Edchup" bottles in his honor. They're available at HeinzEdchup.com while supplies last.

As you can see below, in addition to the name change, the bottles also take the liberty of adding some Sheeran-esque glasses to the tomato in the logo.

The whole thing might seem random and a little weird, but the Grammy winner has been professing his love for Heinz ketchup for a long time. In fact, the brand tells us that a full one-third of @Heinz Instagram posts include people mentioning or tagging Sheeran, dating back to 2014.

In April, Sheeran himself wrote on the @Heinz Instagram that he had written a script for a ketchup TV commercial. That set everything in motion for the custom bottles. And Heinz tells Muse that Sheeran's spot will soon be produced as well.
