Apple's iPhone XS Spot, With a Snoh Aalegra Song, Makes This Week's Most Shazam'd Ads

Brand returns with 'Nothing Burns Like the Cold'

Samsung's Galaxy Note9 commercial with the song "Thunderclouds" by LSD continues to dominate our weekly list of the most Shazam'd ads—topping the list for a remarkable sixth straight week.

But archrival Apple is back on the list, too—with a new iPhone XS spot, featuring "Nothing Burns Like the Cold" by Snoh Aalegra, finishing at No. 4 in its debut week.

The Swedish-born, L.A.-based R&B singer released the track in 2017 on her album Feels. It provides a groovy backdrop to the "Illusions" spot, which has a magical, ethereal quality as it shows off the larger screens of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

The other new additions to the Shazam list this week include another one from Samsung, for the Galaxy Watch, featuring Rita Ora's "Your Song," and a spot for Amazon's TV series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, featuring Rag'n'Bone Man's "Human."
