A soundtrack that captured the horrors of deforestation

Entrant: DaHouse Audio
Brand: Climate Reality Brasil
Campaign: "The Refugee Tree"

"The Refugee Tree" was a remarkable campaign by the agency Africa drawing attention to the ravaging of the Amazon rainforest. To create a soundtrack for the film, DaHouse Audio used unusual and brilliant instrumentation—a handsaw played with a bow, and normally wooden instruments made from other materials—to embody the mission of saving wood from being pillaged.

Above, hear more about the double Grand Clio winner from DaHouse Audio's Lucas Mayer. And below, check out the case study.
