2 Minutes With ... Inesa Ponomariovaite, Founder and CEO of Nesa's Hemp

Harnessing the power of nature to help and heal

Inesa Ponomariovaite is a holistic health practitioner and an expert on hemp and CBD. She's on a mission to change the world by teaching people to harness the power of nature, like she did, to restore their health and well-being. She is the founder and CEO of Nesa's Hemp, a dominant player in the CBDA hemp oil industry. Nesa's is the world’s first full-spectrum CBDA Hemp Oil. It is created through a unique process (developed by Inesa herself) to preserve the vital compounds of the hemp plant, which can heal and restore the body.

We spent two minutes with Inesa to learn more about her background, creative inspirations and some recent work she's admired.

Inesa, tell us...

Where you grew up, and where you live now.

I grew up in a small town in Lithuania, now I live in the United States and am a citizen.

How you first got interested in cannabis.

After I decided that chemotherapy would not be a solution for my mother, who had stage three colon cancer, I decided to take a holistic medicine approach with cannabis. It was one of the resources I used to help her overcome cancer. I was simply looking for the safest and most effective hemp and CBD-based products for all my clients in my health consulting business. After I couldn't find a product in the CBD market that had what I was looking for and that could meet the highest health standards, I realized I had to create something that truly represented the plant's healing power to the human body.

One of your favorite projects you’ve ever worked on, and why.

After spending tens of thousands of hours on cancer research, I discovered the root of the causes for 95 percent of diseases out there. That was the minute I realized that I fear no disease and that there is a solution for almost all health conditions. I know it's a very strong statement, but I am living proof, along with so many people that I was able to help while I was sharing my knowledge.

A recent project you're proud of, and why.

I finally decided to start a case study that involved a university and a lot of blood work, plus DNA testing to measure someone's biological age. I know in my heart that I was able to help reverse aging for many people I worked with, but I am starting a project that will be able to prove facts, evidence, and data on how within 6 months, someone will be able to reverse anywhere from 10 to 30 years of their biological age. I am not doing this to prove myself to anyone, because the results of my work speak for themselves. I am doing because I believe this will be great for people to understand Nesas Hemp's mission, based on data, facts, and evidence.

The biggest challenge cannabis marketers face today, and how to approach it.

All of them are selling the same product with different labels and different brand names, so it's very hard for them to differentiate themselves. CBD owners should really know where the plants are coming from, and they should be involved in the process from A to Z in order to understand how many things are missing so they can fill those gaps to be different.

One thing about how the cannabis industry is evolving that you're excited about.

I am excited to see that, finally, regulations on CBD products are going to take place, and 97 percent of the companies in the market that don't even test their products for dangerous toxins will be forced to follow safety guidelines.

Someone else's work, in cannabis or beyond, that you admired lately.

I really don't associate myself with this industry at all. Nesas Hemp has nothing to do with mainstream CBD products on the market. It's the Wild West. I created my own standards, safety guidelines and quality that I desired to see on the market. Our brand sells the best CBDA oil that comes directly from the plant versus regular pure CBD oil, which is a synthetic molecule. Most people don't realize there is a huge difference between full-spectrum CBD oil and hemp oil versus CBD oil.

A book, movie, TV show or podcast you recently found inspiring.

I just started The 5 AM Club which has been inspiring and eye-opening, by providing a lot of great information on how to stay calm in your busy routine.

A visual artist or band/musician you admire.

Laura Pausini, the Italian singer.

Your favorite fictional character.

I really don't have one.

Someone worth following on social media.

@lewishowes I like him very much because he designed his whole life to pick the best people and share their brilliant minds and inspire others.

Your main strength as a marketer/creative.

Belief in the process and what we do, not allowing small battles to affect us. I believe there are no problems, there are only solutions.

Your biggest weakness.

My desire to have all big things and dreams happen very fast.

Something people would find surprising about you.

That I started and built Nesa's Hemp by myself.

One thing that always makes you happy.

Making a genuine impact on someone’s life.

One thing that always makes you sad.

Seeing other people suffering and unfair things happening in the world. People are selling their souls for money, and losing their humanity which makes me sad.

What you'd be doing if you weren’t in the cannabis industry.

It's hard to imagine a life without starting Nesa's Hemp, but I previously started a consulting company to help people to become the best version of themselves and balance their body, mind, and soul, so I would probably continue that work.
