Rania Batrice, a partner at WIN, is a first generation Palestinian, born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. As the only daughter in a conservative family, perseverance defined her upbringing to become a leader in progressive movements in the U.S. and abroad. Rania has worked as a Democratic operative for nearly twenty years, lending her expertise in a variety of fields including political, non-profit, legislative strategy and crisis management. Rania served Bernie Sanders' 2016 run for president in a number of roles including National Director of Surrogates and Deputy Campaign Manager. Following the primary, Rania worked with the DNC on progressive outreach and with Sanders during his General Election appearances.
While her work has focused on strategy and communications, her portfolio includes years of experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and organizational development. Rania continues to work for social justice and progress through a variety of avenues including in collaboration with organizations such as Our Revolution, the Arab American Institute, March for Our Lives, StudentsMarch.org, March For Science, Sunrise Movement, the Freedom Project and others.
