Creative philosophy or approach
I've always been obsessed with solving problems. I love doing that by telling stories that people want to binge, not skip. This curiosity that makes me click "next episode" and ditch the intro is what drives me to create stuff that people can't take their eyes off. While it mostly has a bad rep, I vouch for bingeing - after all, soaking in as much pop culture as possible is what made me want to create for a living. It's what enables me to turn facts into stories and what motivates me to write smarter, faster and funnier.
Recent work I'm proud of
The New York Times recently published an article on kids being scared of wearing protective masks. My Art Director Thit Lin Venning & I got inspired and created COVID WARS: The ultimate face masks allowing little rascals to transform into their favorite masked villains. Let's fight evil with evil and help kids feel empowered and safe during the pandemic.
Recent work I admired
I've been really inspired by the spec campaign of Seine Kongruangkit & Matithorn Prachuabmoh Chaimoungkalo that uses spoiler billboards to encourage people to stay home during this global pandemic. I think it is a bold and effective approach that utilizes pop culture and people's love for it to achieve a greater good that goes beyond the pleasures of watching one's favorite Netflix show.
