Honda Is Going 'Trick-or-Tweeting' by Visiting Candy Brands at Their Twitter Addresses

And it comes bearing poems

Honda is getting in on the Halloween action today by "trick-or-tweeting" at different Twitter addresses—most of them candy brands.

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. ET. Unlike traditional trick-or-treating, Honda isn't expecting goodies when it shows up and rings the virtual doorbells—but rather is delivering treats of its own, in the form of little poems.

Below are a few examples of the tweets you can expect today from @Honda. The brand also whipped up some videos to go with the poems.

The brand will also hit up a few other high-profile handles, including @Twitter itself:

Are we trending, @Twitter?
or do #cats have us beat?

There will probably be 15-20 tweets total, and Honda agency RPA will have a war room ready to respond to anyone throughout the day.

"Halloween is such a great moment for brands to have some spirited fun," Jessica Fini, social media manager at American Honda Motor Co., tells Muse. "People have such fond feelings and nostalgia for certain candy brands, especially on this day, so Honda wanted to connect with those brands and the people who love them in a spontaneous and surprising way."
