The Non-Negotiable Nature of Time and Creativity

It stops for no one, after all

Everybody wants more of it. But just like everyone else, you only get twenty-four hours a day (and you have to sleep at some point).

So instead of wishing for more, we're all better off appreciating and prioritizing what we've got.

Humans have been contemplating "mindfulness" for centuries, although it's quite the buzzword these days. When you stop, take a breath and actually notice what’s going on in your world, your experience becomes deeper, richer and more fulfilling.

And when you take a few minutes to actually evaluate your time, you just might notice that you're wasting or misdirecting some of it on a daily basis. It's super easy to fall into these traps. It takes conscious intention to see what's up and tweak your world, your schedule and your habits.

So face the facts… You only get 24 hours each day. And the clock is always ticking.
