Jukin Licensing Honors Emerging Creatives at 2023 Clio Awards

Entrants must create a cause marketing campaign with UGC

Jukin Licensing—which provides UGC content for brands, publishers and entertainment companies—will sponsor an Emerging Creative Award at this year's Clio Awards ceremony.

Participants must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs, or have less than five years of industry experience. Their entries should take the form of cause marketing campaigns created using Jukin's library of more than 95,000 UGC videos.

The resulting work must include 50 percent UGC and the tagline "Real Change. Inspired by You" across one 30-second spot and a :60, plus edits for social media.

Jukin will provide entrants with a free trial account. This video explains more:

"The topic is up to the individual," says Rose Ferraro, chief revenue officer of Trusted Media Brands. "Creatives can choose any existing foundation, cause or campaign they are passionate about."

Think of organizations like Everytown for Gun Violence, American Cancer Society, Feeding America, United Way and The Trevor Project, for example.

The winner receives $10,000, which will be split between the creator and the cause they champion. The winner will also collaborate with Jukin on a branded content campaign. The prize will be presented at the Clio Awards in April, with travel and accommodations provided by Jukin. There's a $10 registration fee to enter with a deadline of Feb. 3.

"We have an opportunity in this industry to shape the cultural conversation going forward and empower the community to use their talent as a force for good," Ferraro tells Muse. "I'm excited for Jukin to be part of that movement and I'm looking forward to empowering the creative community to use UGC as an effective means to drive a narrative that evokes emotion and action."
