Tui's Flight Safety Film Covers Movie Tropes and Travel Destinations

Heists, car chases in parking garages, archeological finds and neo noir capers power Tui's 4-minute in-flight movie.

Created by Leo Burnett U.K., "Safety: A Global Film," puts a cinematic spin on finding emergency exit aisles, while showcasing many of the destinations Tui serves.

The ad follows a passenger and a partner in crime—her flight attendant—through various roles in mysterious locations. This all takes place while rules about fastening seat belts, putting devices on airplane mode and stowing luggage are explained.

The extended cut below was produced by Missing Link Films and directed by Alicia MacDonald.

"What a great brief. This cracker has been a true labour of love from our brilliant Tui Team," says Burnett CCO Mark Elwood. "Taking inspiration from popular film genres from across the globe (destinations for Tui), the attention to detail, the craft and humor will hopefully entertain and inform our audience in equal measure. Please fasten your seatbelts and pay attention until the end of the film."

The film will be shown onboard all Tui Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircrafts and selected Boeing 737s across many of the carrier's European markets.
